Application for participation in "Mary Hallock Foote: An audio storytelling workshop"
Please complete by April 13. The workshop is research-intensive – and we are recruiting those who have some working familiarity with the Footes or who are willing to learn. Interested participants may include those who work in heritage and cultural organizations, educators and librarians. Applications will be reviewed for applicants' ability to commit to the dates and times for the workshop in addition to how the vision of each applicant fits within the goal of producing an audio post for the exhibit about the Footes.
My experience in audio production can best be described as:
Please take a moment to share what interests you in the Footes and in contributing an audio post to this project. If you have background research or writing about the Footes or attending community events on topics related to their life and work, please share.
Please take a few sentences to tell us about any audio storytelling, sound creation or journalism experiences you have that might lend itself to making you a good addition to the class.
Do you listen to podcasts or create podcasts already? If so, which ones and what interests you about them?
Do you have a laptop computer? (It is required for the workshop)
I am able to attend weekly classes from Wednesday, April 18 through Wednesday May 16 (pand a possible class on May 23) from 6pm to 8pm.
I would like to apply for a need-based scholarship to cover the $100 workshop fee.
