MSFCA Wildland Committee - Chairperson
We are recruiting for the Chairperson of the Wildland Committee of the Montana State Fire Chiefs Association (MSFCA).

The Wildland Committee provides a regular and open communication with the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (MT DNRC) and the Northern Rockies Coordination Group (NRCG) and provides input and guidance for the MT Legislative Session.

Chairperson Expertise and Responsibilities:
Should have extensive experience and expertise in Wildland Fire Management in Montana and Nationally.
Prepare agenda for monthly meeting (in conjunction with Administrator).
Attend and facilitate 1 meeting per month (First Tuesday at 9:00 am Mountain).
Prepare periodic reports for MSFCA Board of Directors.
Be the liaison between MSFCA and State Agencies and Committees related to Wildland Fire.

MSFCA will provide administrative support to:
Set up monthly meetings, via conference call or Zoom.
Prepare and distribute agenda for monthly meeting (in conjunction with Chairperson).
Take and distribute meeting minutes at the monthly meetings.
