Urban Growth Bursary Application - GTA 2017 Annual Conference
UrbanGrowth NSW is providing TWO bursaries for Primary Teachers in the Sydney Metropolitan area to attend the Geography Teachers Association of NSW (GTANSW) Annual Conference at Novotel, Sydney Olympic Park on Thursday 9 March 2017.

Bursary entitlements cover the following expenses to a value of up to $750 each:
• GTANSW Annual Conference registration for one day at the members’ rate of $250
• Cost of one day’s casual release from teaching
• Package of teaching resources from UrbanGrowth NSW
• Opportunity to attend a scheduled site visit to a choice of one of UrbanGrowth NSW’s CBD or Western Sydney urban transformation projects (organised directly with UrbanGrowth NSW)

Requirements It is a requirement of the bursary process that recipients
• Agree to appear in UrbanGrowth NSW marketing and media opportunities
• Submit a paragraph for GTANSW journal (Geography Bulletin) based on their learning experience at the conference and perceived classroom benefits.

Closing date for entries is 6pm, Monday 27 February 2017.
