WISTA Australia 2025 Mentoring Program – Mentor Application
Thank you for your interest in becoming a mentor in the WISTA Australia Mentoring Program. This program is a key initiative to support the next generation of female leaders in the maritime, trade, logistics, and related industries.
A mentor is an experienced and thoughtful professional who is committed to sharing their time, knowledge, and insights to help others grow. By offering guidance, support, and encouragement, mentors play a vital role in shaping the future of our industry and empowering emerging leaders.
As a mentor, you are expected to:
- Mentors are expected to:
- Have at least 5+ years more experience than the mentee
- Support their mentee with regular, meaningful check-ins
- Provide guidance, share knowledge, and encourage growth
- Commit to a respectful, supportive relationship throughout the program duration
We welcome mentors from all career backgrounds – including corporate, academic, trade, shipping, logistics, and supporting industries. Your experience and leadership can have a lasting impact on the future of our industry.

Community Platform The program will be facilitated through an online community platform – a dedicated space for mentors and mentees to be supported throughout the mentoring journey:

- Stay connected throughout the program
- Share insights, ideas, and opportunities
- Foster meaningful connections beyond the scheduled sessions
All applicants must submit a completed application form and signed Code of Conduct Declaration by the closing date.
