The BGC Library is happy to schedule appointments for outside researchers, BGC alumni, and Bard College students, faculty, and staff to use our library collection if your requested material is not available to you at the Watson Library (The Met) or the New York Public Library.

Library appointments are generally available Monday through Friday, 10am-4pm, and are subject to availability and staffing.

Because we are a closed stacks library, all material will need to be requested and paged prior to appointments. Please include your list of up to 10 requested books (titles and call numbers) below. You can search our library catalog Folio to identify the material you would like to consult.

Note: All requests must be confirmed via email; you will receive a confirmation and further instructions from reference@bgc.bard.edu.
