Dear Provost Shoho:
We are deeply troubled by the University’s failure to follow the law and abide by our signed Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
Unfortunately, many eligible graduate workers did not receive the complete payments they were owed this spring.
Across more than three months and four separate grievances, NMSU has repeatedly failed to comply with the union’s information requests.
We have also been forced to file a Prohibited Practice Charge with the state of New Mexico.
Let us be clear: we do not wish to engage in costly and lengthy litigation with the university.
Please promptly direct your office to comply with our information requests so that we can fully investigate these grievances and ensure our CBA is upheld by all parties.
