MAP Flash Talks
In an effort to facilitate community-building and to give MAP members an opportunity to workshop works-in-progess, we are continuing the MAP Flash Talk series!
Flash talks will take place monthly on the third Wednesday of every month. The first one will take place on Wednesday, November 18, 1pm-2:30pm Eastern Time. The second one will take place on Wednesday, December 16, 9pm-10:30pm Eastern Time (for our friends down under!). There are two slots per meeting. We recommend talks of 20-25 minutes in length followed by 20 minutes of Q&A, though exploratory talks and workshops are also welcome.
The deadline to submit an abstract for the November 18 Flash Talks is Wednesday, November 4. We will notify speakers by November 8.
You can use this form to submit an abstract to present at the Flash Talks. Submit by November 8 for consideration for the first date, but submissions will be ongoing. You can also select to be considered only for certain dates. You can read about previous flash talks here!
