Green Owls Director of Events Application
Thank you for your interest in the position of CU Green Owls Director of Events!

The responsibilities of the Director of Events are as follows:

- Assist Green Owls Chair in the fulfillment of their duties
- Devise an annual programming calendar and establish a timeline for Green Owls to begin planning for and executing all events
- Reserve rooms through the University Events Management portal and/or the GS Space Request Form
- Maintain communication with:
i. University administration for proper space allocation
ii. External vendors for catering and supplies, whenever necessary
iii. Special guests to anticipate potential day-of needs
- Manage food orders for meetings and events, including:
Maintaining viable secondary sources of food for meetings including, but not limited to, local supermarkets
Ensuring food deliveries are accepted, unpacked, and displayed
- Coordinate aesthetics of spaces
- Oversee an Events Committee, and ensure committee members are actively engaged within committee
- Ensure all Board and committee communication is maintained with the Slack platform
