APIDA Identity in Politics: A Celebration of AAPI Political Involvement in the U.S.

As USC celebrates AAPI Heritage Month, the USC Political Student Assembly and the USC Center for the Political Future invites everyone to join us for a discussion about APIDA identity in U.S. politics featuring prominent APIDA figures from various levels of government. Attendees will get a chance to not only hear about how the APIDA community is currently affecting California and US politics, but also meet with the event speakers and get to know them more personally.

  • Betty Yee, Candidate for Governor of California and former California state treasurer

  • Ed Chau, LA Superior Court Judge and former California state assemblyman (AD 49)

  • Alton Wang, Pasadena City College Trustee and Fellow at Equal Justice Works

  • Nithya Raman, Los Angeles City Councilmember, 4th District
