NYNHP wetland landowner access response
The State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry’s New York Natural Heritage Program (NYNHP), a science-based non-regulatory organization responsible for documenting locations of rare species and assessing the quality of natural areas, will be conducting an ecological assessment of wetlands and nearby associated uplands throughout New York State this summer and next summer (2020-2021).

The NYNHP field crew has requested permission to access your property as part of their efforts to assess wetland health in the Lower Hudson, Delaware, and Mohawk water basins.
