Peer Group Interest Form
Thanks for your interest in Norfolk Area Pride's Peer Groups! Please read this section before filling out the form that follows.

Norfolk Area Pride (NAP) has recognized the need for supportive and fun peer groups in Northeast NE for members of the LGBTQ+ community and their parents. Meetings are open to anyone living in the Norfolk Area, or with connections to the Norfolk Area.

The Groups
-Parents: This group will be for parents and/or caregivers of LGBTQ+ individuals of any age. This group will be facilitated by two parents of LGBTQ+ children. Dawn and Derek have each navigated a child coming out and look forward to sharing their own stories and walking alongside parents to better support, affirm, and advocate on behalf of their LGBTQ+ loved ones.

- 5th-8th grade: This group will be for LGBTQ+ or questioning individuals in junior high. This group will be facilitated by current Pride board member, Adrienne. Adrienne loves having fun and creating a safe space for junior high students to learn and grow.

- 9th-12th grade: This group will be for LGBTQ+ or questioning individuals in high school. This group will be facilitated by adult partners and current Pride board members, Angie and Mo. Angie's experience coming out in 7th grade has given her a lifetime of navigating LGBTQ+ issues and Mo came out as an adult in 2020. Together, Angie and Mo are passionate about advocating for LGBTQ+ youth and creating safe and inclusive spaces where everyone can experience belonging.

-Adults (18+) are welcome to join us in Norfolk on the Third Sunday of every month. Watch our Facebook page for event details. No sign up is necessary, just show up!
