2026 Boston Jazz Luminary Award Nomination 

Hello fellow Jazz lovers and creators! We are looking to honor one or two people who have made an indelible impact on the Boston Jazz scene. The chosen winner/s will be recognized with the "2026 Boston Jazz Luminary Award". This award emphasizes the honoree's influential role and shining presence in the Boston Jazz community. We are looking for nominations of musicians as well as folks who have fostered Jazz in the city.

The deadline for nominations is August 29, 2026.

Jazz Square Activation is a collaboration of the Boston Jazz Foundation, Claremont Neighborhood Association, and The Reckonings Project. We plan to announce the 2026 Boston Jazz Luminary at a fall concert. Jazz Square (the corner of Columbus Ave and Mass Ave) is an invitation to honor the past and guide the ways we imagine the future of Jazz in Boston.
