The WMGIC x NATO Countering Disinformation Challenge will be held on Friday, November 1.
Teams will be accepted on a rolling basis until October 25 at 5pm EST, with registrations considered on a rolling basis after that date. WMGIC reserves the right to close registration early if capacity is reached. After registration closes, teams will be placed on our waitlist and notified if a competition spot becomes available.
What: William & Mary's Global Innovation Challenge (WMGIC) is partnering with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) to present an international countering disinformation case competition. The competition is aimed at encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration to create innovative solutions to counter disinformation. The entire event is conducted in English and only open to undergraduates at institutions in NATO member states and partner nations. The competition is open to students from all academic disciplines.
All teams receive mentoring from a professional. The winning team from each of the streams will receive $500 USD from WMGIC.
After signing up you will be sent a registration confirmation. This will include an additional form for your team to fill out.
