Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Event 2022:       Community Service Projects
Thank you so much for your expressed interest in joining us on this special day to serve the city we love. Our hope is that your time will bless you as much as you bless the people of each place you serve. The service projects will take place from 1:15-3:30 PM on January 17, 2022. You are welcome to join us for the morning events in the Jubilee Theatre starting at 10:30 AM, but if you choose not to participate in the full event we will meet at Jubilee Theatre at 1 PM to share in a time of prayer before we break off to serve our community. Our hope is to provide a space for us to reflect on God’s restoration and healing for our community and how we are being invited to participate in that healing.

* Please take into consideration that if we experience any inclement weather that would not allow us to work outside all Mission Waco service projects may be cancelled. We will be sure to notify you if this occurs.

Mission Waco budget covers expense of supplies for general service projects like cleaning, yard work, etc. Some churches/organizations have expressed interest in financially contributing to the service projects we hold for our MLK event, or providing funds to expand options for service projects. Not required at all, but donations are always appreciated and help give us more to work with when coordinating the details of our service projects.
