partnering with the Thomas J. Watson College of Engineering and Applied Science to distribute funding to eligible candidates. Eligible individuals are able to receive up to $3,000 per person toward earning certifications in the IT/Cybersecurity field, to be completed no later than May 2024.
Fill out the form below to indicate your interest in taking an upcoming course. Students and alums in the workforce pursing IT/Cybersecurity fields will be sponsored and provided with a promo code to take the course at no personal cost! (Note: Pending final Project Excite approval)
All interested participants will receive a confirmation email (within a few days) from the Watson Career and Alumni Connections (WCAC) staff member. You will then be contacted by a Project Excite staff member to set up a brief 15-minute virtual meeting. Please DO NOT register for the course prior to the meeting (which is when you will be provided with the promo code to take the course at no personal cost to you).

Note: After you complete your Watson Continuing Ed. bundle, you may be eligible for additional certifications! Examples may include but are not limited to CompTIA certifications (ITF+, A+, Network+, Security+), AWS Certifications, coding classes of your choice, etc. Ask your Project Excite staff member and keep in touch with them after your 15 minute meeting. They also offer job placement services and are happy to help!
