ExEgypt offers its participants a once in a lifetime chance to experience Egypt. ExEgypt Summer Schools offers meticulously designed scientific programs for Medical, Pharmaceutical, Dental, and Nursing students.

What is all about?
40 accredited hours scientific program where participants can choose to attend one of our accredited program:
1) Emergency Program: In this course, you will attend lectures discussing key topics such as basic life support, advanced trauma life support, ABCD approach, acute coronary syndromes, chest trauma, abdominal trauma, head trauma, burns, and acute abdomen. You will also have the chance to attend clinical rounds where you will be given the opportunity to learn and perform some practical skills such as stitching, wound management preparing and giving injections (IV, IM, SC), X-Ray interpretation, CT interpretation, and ECG interpretation.
2) Craniomaxillofacial Program: our participants will attend lectures and learn key topics about basics of Maxillofacial fractures emergency management and different surgical approaches. In addition to, attending clinical rounds where our participants will have the chance to observe and examine facial trauma patients.
3) Tropical Medicine Program: Participants will attend lectures and learn important topics including Liver diseases (Hepatitis), jaundice, pancreatic diseases, esophageal disorders, typhoid fever and enteric infections. Students will also have the chance to perform hands-on examinations, mainly abdominal examination, and will also be able to visit Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Unit and other units in the departments.
4) Pharmaceutical Program: our participants will get exposed to real patients and learn the major treatment plans for diabetic, hypertensive, renal, and cardiac patients. Optimally structured lectures will also be given about major pharmacological treatment plans, as well as the relevant drug details concerning common chronic illnesses, for instance oral hypoglycemic drugs, antihypertensives, major antibiotic groups, anti-asthmatics, and chemotherapeutic medications.
5) Nursing Program: All nursing aspects of clinical practice will be instructed by our experienced nursing team, from different types of injection (SC, IM, IV), to cannulation, blood sampling like ABG, VBG, as well as ECG electrode placement. In addition, fundamentals of basic life support (BLS) will be instructed and allowed to be performed on models. These different specified tasks will be practiced in a variety of clinical settings, including ER, operation theatres, ICU, and inpatient wards.
*Students will have the privilege to perform a lot of hands-on examinations, and deal with a lot of patients which will enhance their clinical skills*.
6) Workshops: two optional workshops will be organized upon request from our participants
-Advanced Trauma Life Support
-Basic stitching skills workshop
Social Program:
Daily Sociocultural outings and parties in additions to the extra ordinary trips to:
Cairo: two days trip
Alexandria: two days trip
Portsaid: one day trip
Ain Sokhna: one night trip
Fayoum (Sandboarding): one day optional trip
Dahab & Sharm El Sheikh: 5 days optional trip

What to bring:
1- Scrub, White coat and a stethoscope.
2- ISIC card (International students’ card is recommended).
3- Swimming suit.
4- The weather is Warm/Sunny, so make sure you bring clothes suitable for that
weather, a hat, sunglasses and sunblock.
