The Great Ships Showcase at the National Museum of the Surface Navy highlights the diversity of the Navy’s fleet, where different classes are displayed prominently, and famous historical vessels stand out amongst the rest. The space is activated by guests’ gestures and features sea soundscapes recorded on real Navy ships.
To nominate a ship for inclusion in the Great Ships Showcase, please complete the fields below. Ship campaigns will need a lead sponsor to champion the effort to support each ship's inclusion in the Showcase.
The Showcase will feature tiers of recognition for each ship:
- Feature Ships (Target raise: $100,000+). Highlight a ship’s role in history by bringing it to life through activated ocean animations and text displays.
- Identifier Ships (Target raise: $10,000+). Highlight a ship in the showcase fleet, displaying its name, type, and class to stand out amongst the rest.
- Hull Recognition (Target raise: $2,500+). Display a ship and its hull number and educate guests on its history through an interactive kiosk.
Please note that some classes and ships are not able to be changed ahead of production, and the ship nomination does not guarantee physical inclusion of your ship in the Great Ships Showcase.
