Here is more about each conference:
The Central Washington Conference for the Greater Good was founded in 2014 with the goal of strengthening the individuals, organizations, and networks that make Central Washington communities resilient. Held at the Yakima Convention Center, it attracts 200+ nonprofit leaders, volunteers, and service providers. The conference provides an important networking opportunity for nonprofits from Wenatchee to Walla Walla. It will take place on April 19, 2017.
The Washington State Nonprofit Conference is the statewide nonprofit conference in Washington, strengthening the sector by bringing together over 700 nonprofit leaders to learn, connect, inspire and be inspired. It takes place at the Meydenbauer Center in the heart of Bellevue. The conference serves as the leading destination for nonprofit learning and networking. Through partnerships with the University of Washington, Seattle University, 501 Commons and many others, nonprofit and philanthropy leaders gain new knowledge, skills, and connections. It will take place on May 17, 2017.
We are looking for workshops that embody the following values: -Stories from the field: Learning from the lived experiences of nonprofit leaders across Washington State. We are committed to hearing from practitioners and providing more opportunities for attendees to learn from each other and problem-solve together. -Increasing equity: Building commitment to and action for equity within our organizations and our communities. -Staying current: Opportunities to engage with current events and strategies for leading in uncertain times. -Going green: This year the conference will focus on people, minimize paper and move toward earth-friendly practices.
