About the Teaching Artist....Brittani Arlandis Green is the Artistic Director for M.A.G.I.C. Center for the Arts. She is a Baltimore native and a Baltimore School for the Arts [BSA] alumni where she majored in Acting. After graduating from BSA, she had the privilege of attending The Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago, one of the nation's top theatre conservatories, where she earned her BFA in Acting. She remained in Chicago for several years and showcased her talents on stages for companies such as Steppenwolf, Porchlight and Chicago Children's Theater. She has appeared in television productions such as Empire and Shameless, and recently has performed on Baltimore stages at Baltimore CenterStage and with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. Brittani is not only a passionate and committed actor, but is also a strong advocate for theatre education. She has taught theatre for Baltimore City Public Schools, CCBC, and in partnership with arts programs such as Arts for Learning, Dance and Bmore, and The Jewish Community Center's Children's Theatre Production Company. When she isn't teaching or acting, Brittani enjoys spending time with her nearly-nine year old son and her cat.
