Every 30 seconds, a Latino in the United States turns 18 years old -- that's voting age.

Throughout this election year, KUOW will be taking an in-depth look at this important voting bloc. Our news team is partnering with "The World," a national program, for a project titled "Every 30 Seconds." We'd like to talk with young Latinos in the Pacific Northwest who will be voting for the FIRST time this year.

Cada 30 segundos, un latino en Estados Unidos cumple 18 años y tendrá la oportunidad votar.

En conjunto con "The World", un programa radial a nivel nacional, KUOW hará un análisis de este grupo de votantes a lo largo de este crucial año electoral. La iniciativa se llama "Cada 30 Segundos" y nos gustaría hablar con jóvenes hispanos en Washington, Oregon o Idaho. Queremos incluir esas voces  que votarán por PRIMERA vez este año.
