Ukulele for Beginners at SJH- Registration form
Why not play the ukulele? This program is for beginners who are newer to the instrument, where participants will review basic concepts such as holding the instrument, tuning, forming chords, and learning how to strum rhythms. A goal of this class is to learn to play simple songs in a group format and have fun with others.

Health benefits from learning and playing a musical instrument include neurogenesis, relaxation, and increased dopamine levels. All the necessary musical and technical foundations are presented by professional educator and musician Mike Loce. Mike is also available for private lesson teaching at his residence on the Nashua-Merrimack line to work on these topics. He can be reached for any email questions at mikeloce@gmail.com.

Ukuleles and folding music stands are required for members. Chord charts, rhythm foundations and song material will be provided as PDF files for printing and bringing to the group. This 4-lesson class will run with a minimum of 4 members and is part one of a continuing series at SJH. Learn more about Mike Loce: (www.mikeloce.com)and his Ukestra: (www.ukestra.org)
