Johnson Creek Watershed Council Volunteer Events 2019-2020
Welcome! We are so excited to have you helping us restore Johnson Creek!
BECAUSE OF THE HELP OF VOLUNTEERS LIKE YOU, Johnson Creek watershed is still home to an incredible array of diverse wildlife on the land and in the creek. The work we do at volunteer events regulates flooding and purifies water, helps mitigate air pollution and even slows climate change down the line.
Also much of our revegetation work supports restoration projects where we have removed fish passage barriers and native trees and shrubs are needed to stabilize soil and shade the creek. Groups and teams are encouraged!
