Volunteer After School Mentor
The Targeted Services after school academic program needs mentors to build mutually transformative relationships with young people. In alignment with the Great Expectations Initiative, this volunteer position bolsters academic success by assisting students with the completion of academic activities so they are better prepared for school and gain social/emotional skills in life. Mentors assist students in an on-site school setting alongside district staff.

Volunteers help students complete school assignments, motivate students to stay on task and complete their work, serve as a positive role model, and encourage academic achievement. However we understand if you have prior commitments on a scheduled date. Are there any dates that you will be unable to volunteer?
