    Format of Future Haptics Symposiums

Due to the increasing number of submissions, we may need to consider changing the single-track format to be least partially multi-track (e.g., dual oral presentation sessions). This change would increase the number of papers presented orally but decrease the number of attendees at each talk.

    Associated Journal

Some conferences encourage authors to publish their extended work in an associated journal (e.g., IEEE Transactions on Haptics) by providing an expedited path (e.g., a special issue or section). For example, in the IEEE Virtual Reality Conference, long papers (8-10 pages), which go through a more rigorous review process, are published directly in IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics.
