High Atlas Foundation Helps Moroccans Engage in USAID’s Farmer-To-Farmer Program
The Farmer-To-Farmer (F2F) Program promotes sustainable economic growth, food security, and agricultural development worldwide. Volunteer technical assistance from U.S. farmers, agribusiness, cooperatives, and universities helps other countries to improve productivity, access new markets, and conserve environmental and natural resources. This people-to-people exchange promotes international goodwill, understanding of U.S. programs, and private involvement in development activities. F2F volunteers work with farmers, producer groups, rural businesses, and service providers to develop local capacity necessary to increase food production and rural incomes, expand economic growth, and address environmental and natural resource management challenges.
What are the main objectives of the F2F Program?
1. Increase agricultural sector productivity and profitability
2. Improve conservation and sustainable use of environmental and natural resources
3. Expand agricultural sector access to financial services
4. Strengthen agricultural sector institutions
