First Year Representatives are LAHSC's primary contact with the freshman class of LAH. Representatives will foster a sense of community in the LAH program by engaging with fellow freshmen, encouraging attendance to LAHSC events, and keeping their class informed and excited the LAH program. Representatives will assist in planning and executing events such as Quiz Bowl, All Honors Formal, LAH Spring Formal and field night, and while doing so will become leaders within the LAH program.

Starting this year, First Year Representative will have additional duties pertaining to the LAH 102H class. They will be responsible for contacting the speakers and collaborating with them to formulate a topic for that week's lecture, introducing them to the class, and thanking them for their time afterwards. First Year Representatives will also serve as a liaison between the professors and the writing fellows. Dr. Musick will facilitate this process.

The Freshman Representative application is due on Tuesday, September 19 at 11:59 pm. Interviews will be held Monday September 18 through Monday, September 25. Please sign up in the link provided in the confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email,  let us know and we will provide you with the interview sign-ups sheet.
