This Republic Day, the Sports Council of DTU is organizing a Sports meet 'PARAAKRAM' for the Faculty members, Staff, and Research Scholars of DTU from 23rd - 26th January'21.
This Sports Meet is a golden opportunity for all participants to showcase their Paraakram!!
***𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙣 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨.***

The Sports Meet will be a witness to the following games:
OUTDOOR :
1. Cricket (Both men and women)
2. Football (Only men)
3. Basket Ball (Only women)
4. Volley Ball (Only men)
5. Throw Ball (Only women)*
6. Lawn Tennis (Only men)**
INDOOR :
1. Badminton (Singles and doubles for both men and women)
2. Table Tennis (Singles and doubles for both men and women)
3. Chess (Both men and women)
4. Carrom (Both men and women)
*A team game played on the volleyball court where the aim is to catch the ball instead of hitting it with your clenched fists.
**There will be a doubles round as a part of the tournament if we get enough registrations.
Please note that:
1. Trophies, Medals, and Mementos will be awarded to winning individuals/teams. In addition to that certificate of participation will also be provided to all the participants.
2. The format of games (Knock-Out, round-robin, etc.) will depend upon the number of registrations.
3. In view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all the participants are advised to carry their own sports equipment(s). However, The University will provide the Sports Equipment(s) for all the Sports.
4.The practice for the respective games will be open from tomorrow onwards at the sports complex.
