Roleystone Theatre Inc. Casual Hire - Initial Expression of Interest Application

The venue is available to hire between the hours of 7:00am and 11:30pm, 7 days a week (dependent on Roleystone Theatre Inc usage and also volunteer availability as Roleystone Theatre Inc is a not for profit volunteer community theatre organisation).

The Theatre features a fully equipped and accessible auditorium theatre with tiered seating for 111 people, modern audio and lighting systems, a proscenium arch stage and backstage area featuring separate dressing rooms and green room with amenities. There is drive-in loading bay access available (to the side of stage). There is a foyer with courtyard, and kiosk space available to include in the hire if required. Suitable for theatre productions, presentations, conferences, product launches, award nights, seminars, performances and other performing arts related activities. Hire may be for regular classes/rehearsals or performances/events (dependent on availability - Roleystone Theatre Inc. utilise the space extensively).


Note - There are additional costs per hour for hirers that require sound and/or lighting technicians.

Note - This is not suitable as a party venue.

Venue hire costs - to be discussed after initial expression of interest has been received (various options including commercial rates, community rates and potential ticket split options available, as well as optional technical extras).

APPLICANTS MUST BE OVER 18 YEARS OF AGE

Applications must be received at least twenty business days (four weeks) prior to the booking date, with full payment due ten business days (two weeks) prior.

All applicants must be able to present a current certificate of currency for Public Liability (to $20 million).

It is acknowledged that this expression of interest does not constitute a formal booking, and that the application needs to be presented to and approved by the Committee of Management of Roleystone Theatre Inc. (who meet once a month). In addition it is acknowledged that any hire is subsequent to volunteer availability (if technical or front of house staff are required for your booking). *
It is acknowledged that any bump in or out of sets and set pieces is completely the responsibility of the hirer (i.e. without Roleystone Theatre Inc. assistance). *
It is acknowledged by completing this form that any items or equipment in the building that are damaged, stolen or lost are to be replaced at the individual/group hirer's expense. *
