BASS 2020 Application Form
Please fill out the following application to the best of your abilities. Bay Area Solidarity Summer (BASS) is open to 18-24 year olds of South Asian heritage. You must be able to attend all five days of BASS camp, which will run from Thursday, July 30 to Monday, August 3, 2020.
Space is limited! Apply by Sunday, March 1 for the best chance of getting in.
Have fun with this application! Don’t worry about trying to write too much. We don’t care about perfect grammar or spelling — we just want to get a sense of who you are and what you want to get out of this experience. Only members of the BASS organizing collective will have access to the information submitted through this form.

Will attending BASS cause loss of income, and therefore be an economic hardship?

We ask you to put in at least $50 for 5 days of food, instruction, and housing. The camp is heavily subsidized to keep cost from being a barrier to participation. Please choose one of the following options based upon your financial capacity:
