Volunteer at the Greater Boston Food Bank
Want to help end hunger? Want to be part of the food distribution system of the city we love? Want to know where donated food go after leaving the original location and how they are processed before reaching the hands of people in need? Join the Dudley Food Literacy program and for a Friday afternoon volunteer shift at the headquarter of the Greater Boston Food Bank!

We will be trained in food safety at first and then will work together as a team on an assembly line to inspect, sort and pack donated grocery products that are later distributed to hunger relief agencies.

We will meet at 12:15PM, April 7th at the hallway of the Dudley House cafe and head for 70 South Bay Ave, Boston together using T red line. The shift starts at 1PM and will last for 2.5 hours. We plan to arrive back at Harvard at around 4PM.

"I understand that the Food Bank relies on volunteers' fulfillment of commitment to end hunger. A no show is impolite and irresponsible. I will let the organizer <dudleyhouse.food@gmail.com> know ASAP if there are changes to my plan."
