Work schedule will consist of 4 hour days, 5 days per week for 6 weeks. (July though August)
Intern responsibilities and tasks will include: - Repairing, cleaning, and configuring existing and new student chromebooks - Decommissioning end-of-life chromebooks - Rebuilding of chromebook carts - Reimaging of computer labs in secondary schools - Reconnecting all district hardware following custodial classroom cleaning - Upgrading, repairing, and inventorying district iPads
Necessary requirements of the applying intern: - Must have interest and enthusiasm for technology - Must be able to work in a team as well as independently - Must be able to lift 40 pounds - Must have transportation to daily assigned work location
Interns will gain the following: - Knowledge of different types of hardware and software - A great hands-on technical learning experience - Exposure to new and possibly unfamiliar technologies - Access to “behind the scenes” technology - Knowledge of how the technology works and works together in a large school district
