What is Thriving Hearts?
Thriving Hearts is a research project to help moms and babies stay healthy during and after pregnancy. This work is supported by a group called Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI).
Thriving Hearts is offering Community Event funding to support pregnant and birthing people in participating counties (see below for list). These events should foster space for community members to “rest, relax, and repower”, modeled after the successful Queens Village initiative in Cincinnati, Ohio. We are looking for community-based organizations to co-design and co-host these events in collaboration with the Thriving Hearts Local Health Department in the county.
