2015 Adair Park Today Bylaw Survey: Please Fill Out by September 11!
Dear Adair Park Today Member,
Thank you for taking the time to fill out this survey! The Bylaw Review Committee has met several times and is going to present recommended changes to our current bylaws in the coming months. We had a few questions remaining where the Committee did not reach full consensus. We look forward to reading your answers and comments!
Comments should include any ideas you have about changes to the bylaws.

*

https://adairparkatlanta.files.wordpress.com/2015/08/household-dues.pdf
Each person should pay as an individual; no discount for households.
Households with 2 or more members should receive some sort of discount.
Any additional comments about a household discount?
Your answer
Should we have standing committees or have ad hoc committees based on current projects?
*
Currently, we have the following active ad hoc committees: Tour de SWAT, Safety, Festival Planning, Historic Code Revision, & Bylaw Review. Our bylaws state we should have (4) standing committees: Public Safety, Beautification/Gardening, Social, and Housing and Zoning. To see current language on committes in bylaws visit:
https://adairparkatlanta.files.wordpress.com/2015/08/committees.pdf
We should KEEP the standing committees we have now.
We should NOT have defined standing committees in the bylaws, but use the ad hoc committee structure we use now (project-based).
We should use a DIFFERENT type of committee structure which I will explain in comments below.
Any additional comments on how we should structure committees?
