Local Author Showcase Application
Authors in the Cedar Valley are invited to apply for the Cedar Falls Public Library Local Author Showcase, which is part of the library's Read Local Initiative. The Local Author Showcase takes place on the first Wednesday of every month at 7:00 pm in the library's meeting room. Selected authors will do a 30 minute presentation on a topic of their choosing, followed by Q&A and an opportunity to sell and sign books. CFPL defines author as anyone who has written a book.

Presentation Proposal
Your presentation should be in the 15-45 minute range. You will have access to all the Meeting Room equipment, which includes a projector, large projection screen, Windows computer, podium, large whiteboard, a sound system (including microphone), and several adapters.
