Submissions Guidelines:
Race, Ethnicity, Tribal Affiliation, Skin Tone, Nationality, Language, Culture, Gender Identity, Sexual Identity, Physical Appearance, Physical Ability, Neurodivergence, Religion, Family Structure, Mental Health, Occupation, and Socioeconomics.
Authors, illustrators, translators, or publishers can submit a book for consideration during the submission period [July 1 - August 31, 2026].
PLEASE NOTE:
Within a week after your submission here, you will receive an email with instructions for sending copies of the book to the judging committee members.
There will be seven [7] judges this year.
* We understand that books published in later months may not be available by August 31, 2025.
* Please send your books to the judges as soon as they are available, but before October 31st.

Some of the data below will be shared with educators and librarians looking to add intersectional books to their library or curriculum.
Your Synopsis, Protagonist's identities, and other details you list below may be used to promote your book!
For the Author's Intersectionality Statement, you might consider:
Why was it important for you to write about an intersectional character?
Why is it important to have more books with intersectional characters?
How would these books have made a difference in your youth?
PUBLISHERS: There is no limit in the number of books you submit, as long as they meet the requirements above.
AUTHORS: If you submit, we will ask your publisher to send in copies of your book.
