Community Workshops is offering a fun day of activities for K-5 students on Monday, January 16 at the Crested Butte Community School from 8:30 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. Classes and activities include art, science, games, Legos, and much more!

Cost: $45/day. Scholarships are available; contact Jill van Tiel for scholarship information (jillvtiel@gmail.com).

Cancellation/Refund/Illness Policy

Please give Community Workshops 24 hours notice if you need to cancel and we will do our best to give you a refund. Email cancellation information to jillvtiel@gmail.com or text 970 274-8198. If your child is ill, please notify Jill by 7:30 a.m. by text or phone to 970 274-8198 the day of the workshop. We will try to fill your spot and issue you a refund.

Waiver & Permission - I understand that the Community Workshops classes are not a regular activity of the Gunnison Watershed RE-1J School District or the Crested Butte Community School. By signing my child up for the Community Workshops classes & activities I hereby waive any rights I may have to hold the Gunnison Watershed RE-1J School District, the Crested Butte Community School, or the Community Workshops organizers and volunteers liable for any injuries or damages which may occur. I give permission for my child to participate in the planned activities.

Your child needs a lunch, water bottle, snacks & clothing for outdoor play. Please note: Community Workshops staff cannot administer any medications.

8:30 - 9:00 a.m. Sign-in your child at the welcome table in the MPR (Multi-Purpose Room) at CBCS.

9:00 a.m. Classes/activities begin

10:40-11:30 a.m. Outside time & lunch

11:30 a.m. Classes/Activities resume

1:05-1:55 p.m. Snack/Recess

1:55 p.m. Classes/Activities resume

3:30 p.m. Sign out your child in the MPR
