Nest of Honor nomination form
The Nest of Honor is a new program at American High School to recognize the students and staff members who work hard for the benefit of others. Often these people are seen from “behind the curtains” as they constantly work hard each day enhancing an appreciation of positivity throughout our school. Each month, a recipient will be nominated through the participation of staff and students who believe a specific person should be acknowledged for their kind actions to positively impact American.

Fremont Rotary sponsors this program. The core theme of Rotary International is “Service Above Self", which describes the virtue of using your skills and talents to help others above self. If we use their tenet of Service Above Self to guide us as a qualifier for nomination, the guide becomes inclusive of many of our students. The nominating student should have participated in a service for the school or their community that used their skills and talents to help others in our school or our community.
