Backwoods at Mulberry Mountain - Vendor Application

This is the application for businesses and sole proprietors looking to sell merchandise or food at the Backwoods at Mulberry Mountain Music Festival August 26 - 29th, 2021. There are limited spots available, which are sold on a first come, first serve basis as applications are approved.

We expect roughly 25,000 people to attend the festival over four days this year.

Important Changes for This Year
Food Vendors: will be capped to 8-10 (or less based on the type of food vendor applicants) to better ensure the correct ratio of food vendors to attendees.
Food Vendors: will be allowed to sell water to provide more access for attendees. All water must be sold at the same price as the venue, and all water product must be purchased from Mulberry Mountain. Vendors cannot bring water onsite that they plan on selling if it was not purchased from Mulberry Mountain. Please note on this application if you'd like to sell water.
Load In: If your application is approved, You will be assigned a load in date based on your setup. RVs, Trucks, and Trailers will be loaded into the venue on Tuesday prior to the event. All tent based vendors will load in by Wednesday, the week of the event. There will be NO vendor load in on Thursday, which will be strictly reserved for early arrival load-in of attendees.
Vendor Sponsors: You must note on your application the specific product and category you are looking for an exclusive on if you are wanting to Sponsor the festival.
A Note on Payment Processing & Taxes
For this year, you'll be responsible for collecting cash and credit cards on your own. We will not be providing any POS system.
You are also responsible for reporting your sales and remitting your sales taxes individually after the event. Backwoods shall provide a copy of all vendors participating in the festival to the state of Arkansas. Backwoods will provide you with an event report form after the festival, which the State will be expecting to receive from you.
(Note that there is no internet service or WIFI provided at the event.)
This year's vending fees are based on a flat fee and cover the entire weekend.
After your application is approved, you will receive an invoice for your spot which must be paid within 7 days of receipt, or we may sell your spot to the next person in line. Fees differ between those vendors selling food and those vendors selling Merchandise.
Loyalty Registration is only available to vendors who previously vended at Backwoods, and is only open to the first 10 approved Merchandise Loyalty Applicants and the first 5 approved Food Loyalty Applicants. After this, Open Registration will begin and will run through April 30th, 2021. Late Registration begins on May 1st, 2021.
All Registrations come with Two (2) Weekend Tickets (with Early Vendor Arrival) to the Event.
