Dear Parents and Carers,

We are delighted to inform you about an upcoming trip for the children in Year Two. On Thursday 11th July and Friday 12th July we will be visiting the Tower of London as part of our topic “Castles and Battles“. We will be exploring the Tower and taking part in a  workshop. We aim to leave at approximately 9.15am and will hopefully be back by 3.30pm. We will be travelling by bus, train and tube. Children need to bring a packed lunch in a named carrier bag or you can fill in the attached lunch form if you require a school packed lunch.
This trip will incur a £10 contribution to assist with the cost of admission and the workshop. Please pay via Squid.
They will be accompanied on the day by teachers and support staff, but we will also need additional help from parents/carers. If you are interested and are likely to be available on the day please state this on the form. If we receive a high number of helpers, we will select them from a hat.
The children will be required to wear school uniform for the trip. Should the weather be wet, please provide your child with a jacket and if it is warm please ensure the children have sun-cream applied.
If you require a packed lunch, you must complete the form no later than the 3rd July to give kitchen staff time to prepare.

Please note there will be no time to visit the gift shop, therefore children do not need any spending money.
