The Compost Caravan is a new program at ACP to highlight our members and the important work they do to help grow healthy soils in California using compost. This co-branded series of in-person activations across California aims to bridge the gap between composters and communities to increase understanding of the importance of diverting organics and the benefits of using compost. The audience may range from community stakeholders, farmers, teachers, cities, landscapers, educators, residents, legislators, and media.
Please fill out this form to let us know if you're interested in participating by co-organizing a stop on the Compost Caravan. Once we hear from you, ACP will reach out to you and other regional stakeholders to organize a program for your Caravan stop. Compost Caravan stops include one or more of the following, and can be customized to the needs and opportunities of your region:
Compost Facility Tours
Community Composting/Garden Gatherings
Workshops and Screenings/Cultural Events
Compost Application Demonstrations/Compost Use Workshops
Legislative/Advocacy Days
+ Creative Ideas Are Welcome for Consideration!
