PTA Recommendation For Nomination Form
This spring, the Briarcrest PTA will be electing officers for the 2022-2023 PTA year. We are looking for nominees in the following positions: President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary. (We do have returning candidates for the Vice President and Secretary roles.) General descriptions of each role are below, but if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask:
To be eligible for election to any of the above positions, candidates must have been a member of any PTA in the state of Washington for at least 15 days prior to being elected (election date: May 12, 2022). Membership scholarships are available.
Individuals are welcome to recommend themselves.

Nomination for the office of:
President (Presides at all meetings, acts as PTA spokesperson, appoints committee members, maintains system logins and passwords.)
Vice President (Presides at meetings if president is absent, acts as assistant to president.)
Treasurer (Maintains financial records, prepares and presents financial reports, and is responsible for various document filings. This position is usually held for two years.)
Secretary (Maintains meeting minutes, member roster, legal documents notebook, and correspondence requested by president. This position is usually held for two years)
