Bajo el tema Lo real, el Festival Internacional de Fotografía Freezer celebra su tercera edición en noviembre de 2026 en las ciudades de La Plata, Berisso y Ensenada, Argentina. Durante las jornadas, fotógrafxs, artistas, investigadores, editoriales y público general se reunirán en una programación que combina exposiciones, charlas abiertas, talleres y una feria editorial, con el objetivo de generar lazos con la comunidad fotográfica local e internacional.

En este marco, el festival convoca a fotógrafxs, editorxs, colectivos y editoriales a participar de la selección de fotolibros y publicaciones editoriales para su exhibición en la Sala A del Centro de Arte de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP).

La selección estará a cargo del jurado: 

• Ayelén Ruiz de Infante (Artista, Diseñadora en comunicación visual FDA UNLP y editora de Morpurgo)
• Carlos Ríos (Lic. en Historia del Arte FDA UNLP, Titular Cátedra Narrativa, Tecnicatura Universitaria en Fotografía, Facultad de Artes, UNLP)
• Martín Bollati (Artista, editor de SED Editorial, docente)
• Paola Quispe (Fotógrafa y editora)
• Leticia Barbeito (Doctora en Artes FDA UNLP, editora de Tercera Persona)

La presente convocatoria tiene por objeto la recepción, selección y exhibición de fotolibros, fotofanzines, publicaciones independientes y proyectos editoriales impresos, con el fin de exhibir, promover y divulgar la cultura visual y la producción editorial fotográfica contemporánea.

La participación de esta convocatoria es gratuita. Los fotolibros y publicaciones, de ser seleccionadas, deben ser enviadas a La Plata, Provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina por los participantes entre 40 y 30 días previos a la fecha de inicio de las actividades del festival (jueves 5 de noviembre 2026). Las publicaciones serán exhibidas durante el transcurso del fin de semana del 13 al 15 de noviembre 2026.

Under the theme "Something Real," the Freezer International Photography Festival celebrates its third edition in November 2026 in the cities of La Plata, Berisso, and Ensenada, Argentina. During the festival, photographers, artists, researchers, publishers, and the general public will gather for a program that combines exhibitions, open talks, workshops, and a book fair, with the aim of fostering connections within the local and international photography community.

• Leticia Barbeito (PhD in Arts, FDA UNLP, and editor of Tercera Persona)
This call for submissions aims to receive, select, and exhibit photobooks, photofanzines, independent publications, and printed editorial projects, in order to showcase, promote, and disseminate visual culture and contemporary photographic publishing.

Participation in this call for submissions is free. Photobooks and publications, if selected, must be sent to La Plata, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina by the participants between 40 and 30 days prior to the start of the festival activities (Thursday, November 5, 2026). The publications will be exhibited during the weekend of November 13-15, 2026.
