--------------------------------------------We will expect you to help us 16 hours over the festival weekend (Thursday 26th - Sunday 29th July), so you'll have plenty of time to enjoy the festival. No previous experience is needed.
We provide:- A free ticket to the festival - A free festival programme- Access to a separate staff camping area with toilets & hot showers- 1x meal voucher OR 4x drink vouchers each 8hrs shift (you can choose at the end of each shift)- Access to a dedicated staff campsite area (you need to bring your own tent and sleeping bag)
Tasks include (but are not limited to):- TOP UP STATIONS: Standon Calling is a cashless festival and all payments are made using the festival wristbands. The top up station volunteers are based indoor in our two top up stations, giving information and supporting the festival goers in topping up their wristbands. We may also ask you to help managing the queue (if needed). This role is mostly indoor.- INFO TENT & MERCHANDISE: Providing informations to the festival goers, and supporting sales of merchandise.- PROGRAMME SELLERS: selling programmes in various areas of the festival. This role is mostly outdoor.
AGE RESTRICTIONYou must be aged 18+ on 26th July 2018 to volunteer at Standon Calling Festival. We accept applications from 16-18 volunteers only if they are volunteering with a responsible adult (21+).
DEPOSITTo confirm your place, you will be asked to pay a fully refundable deposit of £100. We know a deposit is a lot to ask - this is part of our policy to prevent volunteers not attending their shifts (it happened before, and it is not fair for the rest of the team!). The deposit is refunded in full after the completion of your last shift.
SHIFTSWe expect all volunteers to cover a minimum of 16 hours over the festival.
