SCHS Parking Decal Registration
THE SOLE PURPOSE OF THIS FORM IS TO COLLECT REGISTRATION INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS TO PARK ON CAMPUS . YOU ARE NOT MAKING A PURCHASE. YOU MAY PAY FOR THE DECAL ONLINE OR AT SCHOOL.

To qualify for a parking permit, a student must have:
1. A GPA of 2.0 or higher
2. A valid driver's license
3. Current vehicle registration and insurance card in the driver's or vehicle owner's name.
4. No outstanding school financial obligations
5. No excessive or serious referrals
6. No un-served detentions, or In- School Suspensions.
7.Senior or Junior status or a documented and approved requirement to leave campus for other educational purposes.

Revocation of on-campus parking privileges
A student's parking privilege mat be revoked for the following reasons:
1) Failure to maintain a 2.0 GPA or higher
2) More than two referrals within a nine week period, or any major infraction
3) Unexcused absences and/ or excessive tardies
4) Permitting another student to drive with your parking decal
5) Leaving campus without authorization
6) Taking another student off campus without authorization from the school
7) Use or distribution of an unauthorized or duplicated decal
8) Reckless driving and /or speeding in the parking lot or within the perimeter of the school
9) Failure to serve detentions or In School Suspension
10) Excessive parking violations
11) Failure to pay school financial obligations
12) Poor conduct grade
13) Loud music or profanity
14) ALL VEHICLE DOORS MUST BE LOCKED WHILE IN THE PARKING LOT FOR SECURITY REASONS. RANDOM MONTHLY CHECKS ARE DONE. ANY VEHICLE FOUND UNLOCKED WILL BE SUBJECT TO A $20.00 FINE.

Transfer of Parking Decal
To transfer a parking permit from one vehicle to another, the student must have the current registration to the new vehicle on file in the Dean's Office.
Miscellaneous
1) Students must exit their vehicles upon arrival. Students are not allowed in the parking lot during the day without administrative approval (including lunch).
2) Tags, once issued may not be altered. They must hang from he rear view mirror and be clearly visible.
3) It is the responsibility of the student to know the grade level of his passengers. Remember- LEAVING CAMPUS FOR LUNCH IS A SENIOR PRIVILEGE ONLY.
4) Under no circumstance will a student whose parking privileges has been revoked or denied be granted a temporary parking permit.
5) The administration of Spruce Creek High School, reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments it deems necessary to enforce student parking regulations. To insure the safety and protection of the student population. Florida law provides for search of any vehicle on campus buy the school administration upon reasonable suspicion that a crime has or is about to occur.
6) To insure the safety and protection of our students when leaving the parking lot, absolutely NO LEFT TURNS ON TO CLYDE MORRIS BLVD.
7) Failure to follow parking policies will result in either parking fines, $20.00 per violation or revoking the privilege to park on campus. Violations could result in the vesicle being towed at the owner's expense.

Neither Spruce Creek High School nor the School Board of Volusia County are responsible for any theft, fire, damage, vandalism and/or mishap that may occur to any vehicle parked on the Spruce Creek High School campus.

PARKING AND/OR UNAUTHORIZED VEHCILES ON SCHOOL GROUNDS MAY RESULT IN THE VEHICLE BEING TOWED AT THE OWNER'S EXPENSE.

I have read and understood the rules regarding parking at Spruce Creek High School. I agree to abide by these rules and understand that failure to do so will result in revocation of my parking privileges.
