The UMBC Department of Education Research Seminar series continues with a presentation by Francis M. Hult. He will discuss his work, which is grounded in an ecology of languages orientation and the ethnographic, discourse analytic methodology of nexus analysis. Drawing upon his recent studies of intergovernmental and higher education language policies, he examines how geopolitical forces intersect with policy and practice on local and (inter)national scales.
All members of the department, partners/collaborators, and students/faculty from other departments are invited to attend. Lunch will be provided by the department.
