In honor of World Refugee Day 2021, Art of Hope is providing a two-hour workshop for Mental Health professionals in the field that will be focusing on the principles of psychological first aid (PFA), including the similarities and differences to counseling or psychotherapy. Attendees will also engage in art-making to practice some of the PFA concepts discussed.

Date: Saturday June 19th, 2021

Time: 5pm Local Beirut Time /10amET (This is a two hour workshop led by three US-based Art Therapists)

Where: Virtual (Zoom Link Will Be Provided) / Participation is Free

Who Can Participate: Mental Health professionals, art therapists, teachers, and social workers working with refugees & at-risk communities in the Levant.

What To Bring to The Workshop: Please have paper (any size and type) and any drawing or mark-making materials you have available (e.g., pencil, pen, marker, or other art materials that are convenient).

***Self-care techniques will also be shared amongst the presenters and attendees.***

***Attendees must have a background in mental health, psychosocial support, and/or art therapy.
The workshop will be held in English. Therefore a moderate to advance understanding of English in required to register.***
