CREW CALL FOR INDIE FILM

+ ABOUT THE FILM

The Messengers is a dramatic comedy about a misfit gang of socially awkward angels sent to help a man whose personal and professional life is falling apart- of course most of the time helping out looks a lot like making things worse!

Think It’s a Wonderful Life (1946) meets Napoleon Dynamite (2004).

This fish-out-of-water comedy turns conventional angel folklore on it’s head, welcoming audiences into a world where even the heavenly elite seem to be just as flawed and confused as the humans they’re sent to serve.

The film’s high concept premise centers around The Gift of Inadequacy (based on the filmmakers TED talk of the same name), exploring themes of human value, self worth and ‘enoughness’.
