September 17, 2026 CIMAR Workday at Kākoʻo ʻŌiwi
The CIMAR community engagement hui has organized a workday at Kākoʻo ʻŌiwi in Kaneohe on April 8, 2026 from 8:30 am - 12 pm. Kākoʻo ʻŌiwi is restoring loʻi kalo and agroecology and produces poi and kulolo (taro and coconut dessert) for sustainable agriculture and food production. We will be restoring the wetland, which may include removing invasive plants and clearing waterways.
