Atlee High School recognizes the contributions of all student-athletes throughout its history. The mission of the Athletic Hall of Fame Committee is to induct deserving student-athletes, coaches, and contributors who have made a significant impact on the Atlee High School athletic program and department.

It is not the committee’s intent to determine the “best” athlete in a particular sport or in school history. The selection committee will review all nominations and select the final inductees by majority vote. The order of induction does not reflect an athlete’s value or worth as a player or person.

Nomination Criteria

All VHSL sports sponsored by the Atlee High School Athletic Department are eligible.

Student-Athletes

1. The nominee must have been out of high school for at least ten (10) years.

2. The nominee must be a graduate of Atlee High School.

3. The nominee must have achieved significant success in his or her sport(s).

4. The nominee must exemplify the principles of sportsmanship and citizenship as reflected in the school’s philosophy.

5. Any nominee not inducted in a given year will remain eligible for consideration in future years.

Coaches

Each nominee must have coached at Atlee High School and made a significant impact on his or her sport and the athletic program as all whole. Nominees must also exemplify the principles of sportsmanship, character, and citizenship as reflected in the school’s philosophy.

Contributors

Each nominee must have made a significant impact on the Atlee High School athletic program and department to be considered for induction.
