Neighborhood Council Experience Survey
The purpose of this survey is to identify the areas where our City can be more supportive of the NC system. Over the four months of legislative session since Councilmember Ryu has taken over chairmanship of the committee which oversees the Neighborhood Council system, the Councilmember has set a clear focus on implementing oft discussed reforms for the NC system. Councilmember Ryu has to date approved additional oversight for online voting, passed reforms to the NC election cycle, empowered the Board of Neighborhood Commissioners (BONC) to advise on the definition of "substantial and ongoing" participation as a community interest stakeholder, and adjusted the grievance process.

Going forward, the Councilmember wants to review a wider set of reforms to set the Neighborhood Council system on a path to even greater on a path of success as it heads from its fifteen year anniversary on the road to turning twenty-five.
